Yoga Guru

Oh, I am back to teaching yoga again!!! Forgot how fun it could be......Started learning Thai-Yoga-Massage too (aka Yoga for Lazy people). It's really amazing. Am looking for guinea pigs to come and practise with me.................. hehe.

Steph in School

Seeing Stephan in school really freaked me out today!!!

Kids were reciting a mantra on self-control, singing grown-up hymns, majulah singapura and saying the pledge (in english & chinese), standing at "sadeya". It felt all kindda outta place ........ Where were the kiddie-hugs and kisses. My baby is only 4 after-all!!!!

But then, it was prayer time and I saw how earnestly my little angel was praying and that is the beauty of putting our kids in a christian environment; they learn to love God and speak to him at a young age. I still can't decide if we should keep him at Barker or go to a more huggie-lovie school..........

Stephan is 4!!!!

Stephan's 2 week long birthday party is finally coming to an end.....

Steph was given the choice to have ANYTHING he wanted for his bday dinner............ and he choose McDs!!!! Not that he likes the food there or anything, cos he had a sum total of 2 nuggets and an iced milo. Amazing kids marketing!!!! After that, we went to Island Creamery for some delicious Baked Alaska. Stephan asked for a Nutella on the cone and did not eat it (as usual)........ I do not think he actually likes ice-cream. He just wants to fit in with the other boys!!! haha.



I forgot that we were doing a kiddie party and did not organise any games!!!! (Emma pointed out what a useless mummy I am!!!) We did the piniata thing though......... Steph was a little reluctant to hit Buzz Lightyear at 1st, but when we told him there were sweets in there, he relented. haha.

BTW, the neck is the most fragile part of a man-piniata and kids above 8 should have one hand tied to their backs!!!! (Nic broke Buzz's head in 1 blow at the start of the game and BL had to do re-constructive surgery to put Buzz back together so the other kids could play!!!!)

Creative Cakes do lovely cakes but they need to go easy on the green colouring..........

Horse-Riding with the Fus!!!!!

A very very wet March holiday!!!

Spent the whole holiday stuffing our face and virtual horse-riding with the FUs!!!! ie : Play badminton, eat, play ping-pong, eat, watch TV, eat, ............ I think you get the idea!!!!

Forest Adventure with Mas & Fus!!! Super-load of fun for both kids and adults. The flying-foxes were amazing (just afraid that we were going to get struck down by lightning when it started pouring with rain!!!)

Boys took-up archery @ the Archery Association of Singapore this holiday....... The boys were going through a phase making guns and shooting rubber-bands so I thought I would re-direct it to something more useful and see if they could put that to good use!!! Don't think they will be up for the next olympics but they most definitely enjoyed it. (and they have stopped shooting rubber bands!!!)
