Hey, I finally made it to the bloggers world............... If nothing else, this is to prove my darling sis that eventhough I am an old dinasour, I am not so swaku lah!!!!
The 1st great hurdle was choosing the address for the blog. Peng insisted that much thought must go into choosing a meaningful name. After 24 hrs of nerve wrecking soul searching, I have decided to bite the bullet and go with ELAINEGURU. This whole exercise was more exhausting than choosing the names of my 3 sons!!!!
My 1st thought was to use my 'ol party-name MILF for the blog, but that wasn't too appropriate since I was hoping for a U-rating for this site. In any case, I have not gone to bed past 10pm in 2 yrs!!! Next, was SUPER-MUM. Well, not-so-super-mum, since I don't even know how to blog! (Mathieu asked me to help him with his blog and I was completely useless! Aunty Peng has now promised to help). Then, afew brain drizzles later, I thought YOGI-GURU-WANNABE......... Well, with all the things I wannabe and how bad I am at actually being, I thought Nah.. I will save it for when I actually get somewhere with the yoga.
So, I have come up with ELAINEGURU. I don't really know what it means, but I was going for something all encompassing. It is not about being a yogi, nor about being a Mum, or about being a party animal (which I am not in any case)......... It is about me enjoying my life and sharing my stories with you, my dear friends!!!
Now for the great step of actually trying to upload this onto the site........ tatatada

I think your blog is looking good! Some comments:
1. Allow anonymous comments. This should encourage more ppl to post comments which is fun!
2. S-U-A-K-U is how you spell it. Not S-W-A-K-U. ;P

I think Nic came up with a great idea to come up with a "Community" for our family... Maybe we can task Nic and Matt to "manage" that! It would be great practice!

1stly, Peng, which singlish dictionary did you use to spell SUAKU? I am 100% convinced that SWAKU is the right way to spell (at least for those of us that come from the pre-hanyupinyin generation!!!)
2ndly. the rude comment with the 'b' word is probably from one of the boys repeating what uncle Meng said. One of you pls own-up!!!!
