Windex Waters

Oh, KK wasn't only about the mountain. We took a boat out to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and Tim found his Windex waters........ It was great!!! Saw tons snorkelling and we are coming back to dive next year!!!

In case you didn't know, our cat, Ellsworth, was cat-napped about a month ago. Poor kids miss him terribly. Let's pray that the evil malaysian thieves have sold him off to a nice kind family with and he is being showered with love, affection and treated like a prince!!!

ALMOST UP MT KK

7KM mark, just before Nic decided that he was moving no more ..............

OK, we did not make it to the top......... BUT, we were very very close!!!!

At the start of the climb before being tamed by the mountain. ( As someone so rightly said "You go up roaring like a Lion, but you come down a pussy-cat.")

I know it is no Everest, but climbing South East Asia's tallest mountain was not an easy feat. No training and preparations whatsoever was probably not the way to go, but hey, we tried and will be much more prepared when we attack the mountain again next year!!!

Tim & Mat roared up the mountain and left the rest of us behind..... Nic gripping his chest and taking intermittent puffs of steriod boosters (ventolin), steph fighting with his porter and refusing to sit in his carrier, Glendel freezing from the cold and poor little me struggling with all my excess fat and wishing I had been working out more. sigh.
